Below you can find my most trusted and treasured resources for this blog. They are the mere foundation of it and I use them right now or have used them at some point.  Please note that you will never see in this list a service or product that has not been personally tested or used by me. The content of this page will be updated often as I keep discovering amazing tools!

Resources - Katie's Wealth

*the following list contains some affiliate links which means that if you make a purchase of a product or service using my links I will get a small percentage of the sale, at no extra cost to you. Thank you so much for your support if you do so!

SiteGround is my #1 hosting provider for this blog along with numerous websites for my clients. Their motto “Web services  crafted with care” makes so much justice on what this company is about. I have no downtime with my websites and the customer support is epic.

One click installation of WordPress is making it so easy even for the non tech savvy to get a blog up and running in no time.

I highly recommend SiteGround for your web hosting and you can start at the discounted price of $3,95/month and note that you do not have to sign up for 3 years to get this price. The discount applies to any of the initial periods chosen during the sign-up process.

Envato is my go to place for themes for WordPress. It is a huge marketplace for audio, sound, images and of course WordPress themes and plugins.

ThemeForest is the “Theme Market” of Envato. For this blog I am using the Newspaper 9 theme by TagDiv. The Newspaper template is perfect for a news, newspaper, magazine, lifestyle or any category blog. It’s versatile and comes with 56 premade demos depending on the niche of your blog.

A good coded theme will save you a lot of time as you will not have to go back and forth fixing errors, especially when you are not familiar with coding (like me).

WordPress is the platform I am using since 2004 when I built my first website/blog. Being a total newbie in coding or anything website related, WordPress’s easy dashboard and one click installation of plugins has been simply awesome.

I totally recommend a self hosted WordPress blog with SiteGround if you are starting your own blogging journey. The majority of the blogs right now are built in WordPress.

The Adobe Suite is my most treasured tool for creating graphics and for any image editing here on this blog as well as for my job as a designer.

I've been using the Adobe Suite since 2002 and I can say that the freedom of design by using a product of this class is priceless.

If you want to take your blog and graphics design to the next level, the Adobe Suite is your go tool. You can start with the Adobe Creative Cloud and use one of the apps like Adobe Photoshop for example at the affordable price of $19/month.

Canva is an online design platform for those who prefer a simple drag and drop way to create banners or any type of graphics.

Inside Canva you can use their free graphics and ready made templates as they suit you.

Canva also has some paid templates and graphics. I have personally tested it and I can say that it is great for people who are not familiar with design or those who cannot yet afford a paying suite.
